Non-profit groups says the ongoing fight over the state budget could lead to tragic consequences for thousands of Illinois who depend on them for human services.
A suspect in Sunday's armed robbery of the Rantoul Hardee's restaurant died Tuesday after being shot by police during a standoff at a motel.
The Illinois Department of Public Health says so far in 2015, there have been 69 mumps cases reported at U of I's Urbana campus. That's almost 80 percent of all cases statewide.
