Prairie Ensemble’s ‘Windy Affair’

Roger presents the Prairie Ensemble's "A Windy Affair" concert with Kevin Kelly, conductor, and the Prairie Voices, conducted by Laurie Matheson. On the program are Handel's Royal Fireworks Music; Arvo Pärt's Fratres; Stravinsky's Mass; Maurice Duruflé's Four Motets on Gregorian Themes; and Arthur Bird's Serenade for Winds.

Bach and Beyond

Roger presents the Baroque Artists of Champaign-Urbana (BACH)'s “Bach and Beyond” concert. In honor of the anniversary of the death of namesake J.S. Bach, the chorus sings a chorale motet from his Cantata 21, as well as more recent choral works, part songs by Johannes Brahms, three movements from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Vespers, and the rousing Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten. Chester Alwes directs.
