Carnegie Hall Live

Thursday night July 27 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the fourth program from this year’s “Carnegie Hall Live” series. Kirill Petrenko leads the Berlin Philharmonic in Mahler’s monumental “7th Symphony”.  Also on the program the Brentano Quartet plays a string quartet by Haydn.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert”. You’ll hear the Berlin Philharmonic, Berlin Radio Chorus and vocal soloists in Verdi’s “Requiem”. Also on the program Ukranian composer  Silvestrov’s “The Messenger”.
