Despite the closings, the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District continued their bus routes and offered free rides to help commuters who had to brave the cold.

Monday, November 7th, marks the first day for the Eagle Express --- a new commuter bus route serving Rantoul. Village officials requested the service to help get workers to jobs at the town's industrial park on the west side of town.
