Monday night June 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Aaron Copland conducts an abridged version of his opera “The Tender Land” . Also on the program Ellington’s “A Tone Parallel to Harlem” and Russo’s “ 2nd Symphony”.

Thursday night May 2 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.
