Summer Enrollment At U Of I Drops 1st Time In 6 Years
For the first time in six years summer enrollment at the University of Illinois' largest campus is down.
U of I Increased In-State Enrollment With Slight Drop In Test Scores
David Mercer with the Associated Press reported this week that University of Illinois officials made a concerted effort to increase in-state enrollment by increasing financial aid, and accepting slightly lower test scores. Illinois Public Media's Brian Moline talked with Mercer about his story.
U of I Sees Rise In International, Minority, In-State Students
The number of international students at the University of Illinois' Urbana campus continues to grow. Over ten percent of this year's freshman class is from China, while students from India and South Korea make up one percent each, according to numbers out today from the U of I.
