On the 21st: How are the residents of Washington and Gifford doing three years after the devastating tornadoes passed through? We heard from people across the state, learned about U.S. Senator Dick Durbin's efforts to reform the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and spoke with a climatologist about the link between climate change and tornadoes.

There are no big ceremonies Tuesday to mark the two-year mark of the EF-4 tornado that tore through the tiny Champaign County village of Gifford, destroying or damaging 70 homes.  "We did not want to always dwell on the destruction of what had happened that day," said Christina Gann, who was a large part of relief efforts in 2013 and 2014.

The Congressmen say the bill seeking to change the federal disaster aid formula would help downstate towns the size of Gifford and Washington, who were denied government assistance by FEMA.
