Mourners gathered at the Old State Capitol on Thursday for an annual event memorializing the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust.

On the 21st: The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center in Skokie open its doors to the “Take A Stand Center” on Sunday. The new exhibition includes 3-D technology that shares the stories of brave survivors like Fritzie Fritzshall as holograms.
