The University of Illinois’ Flash Index shows an Illinois economy that continues to hold its own, while still lagging behind the nation as a whole. The Flash Index for February measured the Illinois economy at 104.6, up from 104.4 in January.

The state’s economy continues to grow slowly, according to the University of Illinois' monthly Flash Economic Index.
The University of Illinois Flash Index measured the state’s economy for April at 104.3, down a tenth of a point from March. Any number above 100 on the Index represents a growing economy.
