Leonard Bernstein conducts the Philharmonic in his “Chichester Psalms”, Bach’s “5th Brandenburg Concerto” and Schumann’s “Mandfred Overture”. Also on the program music by Debussy, and Virgil Thomson.

Monday night June 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. It’s a program of works that had their world premieres by the Philharmonic, like Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, Copland’s “Connotations for Orchestra” and Corigliano’s “Clarinet Concerto”.

Monday night June 13 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Reri Grist is the vocal soloist in Mahler’s “4th Symphony”. Also on the program the “Adagio” from Mahler’s “10th Symphony” and the opening movement to Mahler’s “8th Symphony”.
