Monday night November 4 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL  90.9FM/HD1 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain”, Berlioz’s “Dream of a Witches’ Sabbath” and Bach’s famous “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor”.

Wednesday night October 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL, 90.9FM/HD1 it’s the second program in a new series from the European Broadcasting Union. Yuja Wang is the soloist in Prokofiev’s “1st Piano Concerto” with the Berlin Philharmonic led by Vasily Petrenko. Also on the program Ravel’s “Bolero”. 

Wednesday night April 24 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony led by Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen. You’ll hear Berlioz’s “Symphonie fantastique”, Liszt’s “Totentanz” with pianist Bertrand Chamayou, and Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain”.

The program also includes the famous "Night on Bald Mountain" by Mussorgsky.

'Music of the Night' like "Night on Bald Mountain', "Transfigured Night" and others are "Central" (Park in the Dark) to the program.
