That's after a bipartisan Senate agreement to approve $1.1 billion in emergency Zika funding. Congress adjourned until after Labor Day without approving the plan.

One year ago, there were 95 beds available in Champaign County for homeless men to use on an emergency basis.  Today they’re all gone, a casualty of the year-long state budget impasse. Around 50 attended Thursday's event at Centennial High School.

A truck loaded with weapons and hand grenades has plowed through a crowd of people on a sidewalk in the French resort city of Nice during Bastille Day, killing at least 80 people. Local officials say the truck was on the sidewalk for more than a mile before police killed the driver.  Anti-terrorist investigators have taken over the case.
