Wednesday night June 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Ravel’s “Mother Goose – Music for the Ballet” and Schoenberg’s monodrama “Erwartung” with soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams.
Tuesday night June 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra”. The program opens with Reznicek’s “Overture to Donna Diana”. Riccardo Muti conducts. Also on the program Tchaikovsky’s ballet suites from “Sleeping Beauty” and "Swan Lake”.
Monday night June 16 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Rachmaninoff’s “The Isle of the Dead” and the “3rd Piano Concerto” featuring soloist Vladimir Horowitz. The program differs from the one listed in Patterns Magazine.
Sunday night at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” you’ll hear the University of Illinois’ Jupiter String Quartet play Wolf’s “Italian Serenade” on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 7:00 you’ll hear “19th Century Orchestral Music from Brazil” on “Fiesta”.
Friday night June 13 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”. You'll hear Bach’s E Major “Keyboard Concerto” and Golijov’s “The Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind”.

Wednesday night June 11 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Prokofiev’s “3rd Symphony in C Minor” and the rarely heard “Viola Concerto” by William Walton with soloist Jonathan Vinocour. Gustavo Gimeno guest conducts.
Tuesday night June 10 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra”. From his CSO debut concert program of 2017 you’ll hear Jakub Hrůša lead the group in Smetana’s complete cycle of symphonic poems, “Ma Vlast” My Fatherland”.
Momday night June 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Charles Ives’ “Holidays Symphony” and Marc Blitzstein’s “Airborne Symphony”.
