During its colonial times, Brazil was a very wealthy area of the Portuguese empire. As such, it supported a very intense musical activity. Fiesta presents music composed in Brazil during the 18th and 19th centuries by composers such as Luis Alvares Pinto, José Mauricio Nunes García and Sigismund von Neukomm.
