Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Brahms’ “2nd Piano Quartet” on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”.  At 8:00 you’ll hear an entire program of music by Josquin on “Early Music Now with Sara Schneider”.


Mozart’s “Prague” Symphony and Smetana’s “The Moldau”

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Mozart’s “Prague” Symphony and Smetana’s “The Moldau”. Juraj Valcuha guest conducts. Also on the program Francesco Piemontesi is the soloist in Dvorak’s “Piano Concerto”.


An all-Beethoven program from the CSO archives

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast” with an all-Beethoven program from their archives. Bernard Haitink conducts the “Pastorale” Symphony, the “4th Symphony” and the Leonore Overture No. 2.  Also on the program the “Grosse fuge” String Quartet.


Music from Schubert to Brahms and others on this week’s “Evening Concert” programs

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Schubert’s  “Unfinished Symphony” from New York, Beethoven’s “Pastorale Symphony” from Chicago, Mendelssohn’s “2nd String Symphony” from Berlin, Mozart’s “Prague Symphony” from Pittsburgh, then Sunday Brahms’ “2nd Piano Quartet” from Lincoln Center, and an episode of “Early Music Now”.
