Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Strauss’ “Ein Heldenleben”, Fritz Reiner conducting, Elgar’s “Enigma Variations”, Sir Georg Solti conducting, and Brahms’ “Academic Festival Overture”, Daniel Barenboim conducting. That’s a celebration of CSO founder Theodore Thomas on the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.
