Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “Collectors’ Corner with Henry Fogel” with another program in the series of recordings by the Berlin Philharmonic led by Wilhelm Furtwangler. You’ll hear Beethoven’s “5th Symphony”, Brahms “2nd Piano Concerto” with soloist Edwin Fischer, and Sibelius’ “Violin Concerto” with soloist Georg Kulenkampff.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from “West Side Story””,  Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture” , Ives’ “The Unanswered Question”  and selections from John Williams’ score to the movie “Lincoln”.  The program differs from the one listed in Patterns Magazine.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Mozart’s “5th Violin Concerto”  from New York, Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from “West Side Story”” from Chicago, Sibelius’ “4th  Symphony” from Cleveland, Beethoven’s “5th Symphony” on “Collectors Corner” then Sunday Nielsen’s Op. 43 “Wind Quintet” from Lincoln Center and an episode of “Early Music Now”.
