Monday night May 27 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Brahms’ “Violin Concerto” featuring soloist Frank Peter Zimmermann from a concert from Alan Gilbert's first season as Music Director of the Philharmonic. Also on the program Schoenberg’s “Pelleas and Melisande”.
Sunday night May 26 the Evening Concert starts at 5:00 o’clock with the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”, followed at 6:00 by the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”, at 7:00 by Fiesta, and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.
Thursday night May 23 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.
Wednesday night May 22 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Bruckner’s “6th Symphony” conducted by Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen. Also on the program the world premiere of Samuel Carl Adams’ “No Such Spring” featuring pianist Conor Hanick.
Tuesday night May 21 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear three of Beethoven’s works, the Coriolan Overture followed by the “8th” and “5th” symphonies. Also on the program performances by the CSO Brass.
Monday night May 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear an all-Dvořák program with the “Piano Concerto in G Minor” featuring soloist Martin Helmchen, the “New World” Symphony, and the “Violin Concerto”. Christoph von Dohnányi guest conducts.

Tuesday night May 14 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Saint-Saëns’s “Symphony No. 3” and Poulenc’s “Concerto in G Minor for Organ, Strings, and Timpani” featuring Cameron Carpenter. Opening the program is Dukas’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”.
