Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Simone Lamsma is the soloist in Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto in E Minor” with Fabien Gabel guest conducting.   Also on the program Mahler’s”1st Symphony”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Matthias Pintscher conducts Ravel’s “Daphnis and Chloe” and Jean-Yves Thibaudet is the soloist in Ravel’s “Piano Concerto for the Left Hand”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Schubert’s “Great” C Major Symphony with Christoph von Dohnanyi guest conducting. Also on the program, music from Hans Werner Henze’s opera “The Bassarids”.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Schubert’s “Great” C Major Symphony from New York, Ravel’s “Piano Concerto for the Left Hand” from Chicago”, Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto” from Milwaukee, Sibelius’ “Violin Concerto” from Pittsburgh, then Sunday chamber music from Lincoln Center and an episode of “Early Music Now”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Stravinsky’s “L’Histoire du soldat” (The Soldier’s Tale) on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”.  At 8:00 you’ll hear “Music for the Duke of Milan” on “Early Music Now with Sara Schneider”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Rachmaninoff’s “2nd Symphony” and Prokofiev’s “2nd Piano Concerto” with soloist Daniil Trifonov.  Yan-Pascal Tortelier guest conducts.  

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Beethoven’s “1st” and “2nd” symphonies led by Ken-David Masur and Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto” with soloist Anthony Marwood, Gemma New conducting.
