March Madness is back and there are four teams from Illinois playing in the tournament. The 21st heard more about the Illinois, Loyola, Northwestern and Bradley University teams from a reporters across the state.
To speak more about the significant contributions women have made in the country, and more specifically in the state of Illinois, The 21st was joined by the author of Ida B. the Queen: The Extraordinary Life and Legacy of Ida B. Wells, the president of National Organization for Women and a librarian and archivist at Gerber/Hart Library and Archives, which holds LGBTQ historical materials.
Policies regarding COVID-19 and voting are starting to vary greatly between the states of Illinois and Iowa. We talked with reporters from Iowa for more details.
