After House Speaker Michael Madigan announced he would be forced to miss Wednesday's meeting with Gov. Rauner and other legislative leaders, Governor Bruce Rauner moved the meeting to December 1st.
The death toll in a coordinated and ruthless attack on six different targets in and around Paris has risen to 129, with 352 people injured, according to Paris prosecutor Francois Molins. He added that 99 people were critically wounded.
University of Illinois wheelchair athlete and graduate Sarah Castle is the president of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association, founded nearly 70 years ago by 'Father of Accessibility' Tim Nugent, who died this week. "His passion and his love for the game, but also his desire for the well-being of every athlete was completly apparent," she said.
Jaylon Tate left the game after dislocating a joint in his hand, in injury which required stitches to close the open wound; he joins three other Illini players on the sidelines with injuries.
