Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s another Deutsche Welle Festival Concert with a “Best of the Beethovenfest” program.  You’ll hear Alfred Brendel play Beethoven’s “4th Piano Concerto” with the Vienna Philharmonic. Also on the program music by Haydn,  Cesar Franck and Bruckner.

Daniil Trifonov is the soloist in Rachmaninoff’s “4th Piano Concerto”.  Music Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas conducts. Also on the program, Brahms’ “2nd Orchestral Serenade”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Rossini’s “Overture to Semiramide” and Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet” Overture-Fantasy. Also on the program, Beethoven’s “4th Piano Concerto” with soloist Yefim Bronfman.
