The Fighting Illini men's basketball team beat Wisconsin 71-70 Wednesday night in Madison. Ayo Dosunmu scored 18 points and dished a game-high 6 assists — more than the entire Badger team combined — leading the Illini to its first win at the Kohl Center since 2010.

James McCourt kicked a 39-yard field as time expired and Illinois pulled off the biggest upset of the college football season, knocking off No. 6 Wisconsin 24-23 on Saturday.

The Illini men lost their 14th basketball game of the year, and their fourteenth straight to the Wisconsin Badgers, 72-60 Wednesday night in Champaign.

It's the first NCAA Final Four trip for the volleyball program since 2011, and the fourth in school history.

Illinois suffered a 49-20 loss to No. 23 Wisconsin at Madison on Saturday, allowing the Badgers to maintain hopes of a West Division football title and a return to the Big Ten championship game.
