The Evening Concert

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. Emanuel Ax is the soloist in Beethoven’s “2nd Piano Concerto”.  Also on the program Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and music by Julia Wolfe.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a Deutsche Welle Festival Concert from Schwetzingen. Bernhard Forck leads the Academy of Ancient Music Berlin in Mehul’s “1st Symphony in G Minor”, Knecht’s Grand Symphony: “A Portrait of Nature in Music” and Holzbauer’s Op. 4, No. 3 Symphony.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Music Director Riccardo Muti leads the group in the entirety of Smetana’s symphonic cycle “Ma Vlast” “My Fatherland”.   Also on the program Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll”.
