The U of I’s String Quartet in Residence, the Jupiter Quartet, plays Beethoven’s “Harp” Quartet
They'll be heard in the first hour of tonight's two chamber music programs.
Pianist Joyce Yang plays on Bernstein’s “2nd Symphony” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”
She'll play the work with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
Emanuel Ax plays Beethoven’s"1st Piano Concerto” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”
He'll play the work with the Cleveland Orchestra led by guest conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy.
Daniel Gingrich plays Mozart’s “3rd Horn Concerto” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”
He plays the work with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor Edo de Waart.
Hilary Hahn plays Korngold’s “Violin Concerto” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”
She'll play the work with the New York Philharmonic led by it's new Music Diector Jaap van Zweden.
