The one-and-one Illinois football team is looking ahead to this Saturday’s game with Western Michigan, as it tries to shake off Saturday’s 48 to 23 loss to North Carolina.
There are no reports of injuries, but at least two rural properties were destroyed near Homer and Broadlands. Meterologist Jeff Frame says he estimates the tornado, which stayed on the ground for 17 minutes, as an EF-2 based on the level of damage. There are also reports of at least one more tornado and some damage in Vermilion County.
