Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Music Director Riccardo Muti leads the group in Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony, Respighi’s “Feste romane”, Martucci’s “Notturno” and Dvorak’s ‘5th Symphony’.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Gil Shaham is the soloist in Barber’s “Violin Concerto”. David Robertson guest conducts. Also on the program Ravel’s “Mother Goose Suite” and Bartok’s “The Wooden Prince”.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Barber’s “Violin Concerto” from New York, Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony” from Chicago, Chopin’s “2nd Piano Concerto” from Pittsburgh, Beethoven’s “2nd Symphony from Beijing, and Sunday chamber music by Mozart from Lincoln Center and “Fiesta!
