Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”.  Lorna McGhee is the soloist in Mozart’s ‘1st Flute Concerto”. Manfred Honeck conducts. Also on the program Schubert’s “9th Symphony” and Mozart’s “Overture to Idomeneo”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Music Director Riccardo Muti leads the group in Shostakovich’s “6th Symphony”. Also on the program Liszt’s “Mazeppa” Symphonic poem and Schoenberg’s “Transfigured Night.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week” with a Philharmonic “Playlist” program for Valentine’s Day titled “Reflections on Love”.  You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture” and the Waltz from the “Sleeping Beauty” ballet.
