Sunday night July 28 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL- FM 90.9 you’ll hear Charles Ives’ “1st String Quartet” from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by music of Joly Braga Santos on Fiesta and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.
Thursday night July 25 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.
Wednesday night July 24 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the fourth program in a new series from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Anne-Sophie Mutter and Pablo Ferrandez are the soloists in Brahms’ “Double Concerto”. Gustavo Dudamel conducts. Also on the program Bruckner’s “1st Symphony”.
Tuesday night July 23 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Marin Alsop guest conduct the CSO in Elgar’s “Enigma Variations” and Barber’s “1st Symphony”. Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “2nd Piano Concerto” with soloist Lukáš Vondráček.
Monday night July 22 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From the archives you’ll hear an all-Stravinsky program that features the composer conducting “Persephone”. Also on the program “The Rite of Spring” and the “Fantastic Scherzo”.
Sunday night July 21 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL- FM 90.9 you’ll hear Sibelius’ “Intimate Voices” String Quartet from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by music of Ricardo Castro on Fiesta and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.

Wednesday night Jul 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the third program in a new series from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The program features Mozart’s “Prague” Symphony and Copland’s “Clarinet Concerto” featuring soloist Boris Allakhverdyan. Gemma New conducts.
Tuesday night July 16 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Richard Strauss’ “1st Horn Concerto” and Rachmaninoff’s “1st Piano Concerto”. These are works that were written when they each were only 18 years old (!)
Monday night July 15 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From the archives you’ll hear Leonard Bernstein lead the Philharmonic in Borodin’s “In the Steppes of Central Aisa” and Shostakovich’s “7th Symphony”, “Leningrad”.
