Health Consumer Group Ready To Help With ACA Open Enrollment
People looking to sign up for health plans under the Affordable Care Act for 2018 have only a short time to do it. ACA open enrollment runs from next Wednesday, November 1st to December 15th --- just 45 days.
Last year, people had 90 days to enroll but the Trump administration has cut that time in half and all-but-eliminated the advertising budget to remind people to sign up.
Illinois Public Media’s Mark Schultz recently spoke to Adani Sanchez, the Client Services Coordinator for Champaign County Health Care Consumers about the basics of ACA open enrollment.

Champaign County Health Care Consumers is holding a public meeting Thursday evening (October 26) to provide more information about open enrollment. It’s at the Champaign Public Library, starting at 6 PM.
