The "Harp" quartet gets it's "title" [assigned by the publisher] from a description of the pizzicato portions of the first movement which sound reminiscent of a harp.
The work dates from the middle of the first decade of the 20th century and includes a mezzo-soprano soloist plus two choirs: a women's choir and a boys choir.
