Monday night October 23 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  From commercially available recordings you’ll hear Manuel de Falla’s “Three-Cornered Hat”, “Love, the Magician” and the “Concierto del Sur” with guitarist Sharon Isbin.

Sunday night October 22 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear chamber music by Schubert from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by music of Antonio Fragoso on “Fiesta” and at 8:00 by Florence Price’s “3rd Symphony” on “Gateways Radio”.

Thursday night October 19 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”. You’ll hear Amy Beach’s “Piano Quintet”. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, live, call-in talk show on politics. The chamber music program differs from the listing published in Patterns Magazine.

Wednesday night October 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the third program in a new series from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Schumann’s “1st  Symphony” and Brahms’ “Academic Festival Overture”. Also on the program choral works by Brahms.

Tuesday night October 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  From the CSO’s archives you’ll hear Mozart’s “39th Symphony” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 3, the “Heroic”. Herbert Blomstedt guest conducts.

Monday night October 16 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  From the Philharmonic’s archives you’ll hear Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 3, the “Heroic” and Bruckner’s “2nd Symphony” in C Minor. Alan Gilbert conducts.

Sunday night October 15 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Faure’s “2nd Piano Quartet” from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by chamber music of Brazil on “Fiesta” and at 8:00 by Billy Child’s “The Distant Land” on “Gateways Radio”.

Wednesday night October 11 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the second program in a new series from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “5th Symphony” and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Opus 33 “Ballade in  A minor”.  Also on the program Prokofiev’s 2nd Violin Concerto with soloist James Ehnes. 

Tuesday night October 10 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  You’ll hear Stravinsky’s “The Firebird” and Anders Hillborg’s “Eleven Gates” Klaus Makela guest conducts. Also on the program Prokofiev’s 2nd Violin Concerto with soloist Daniel Lozakovich.
