Nature’s Majesty

Roger presents Sinfonia da Camera's "Nature’s Majesty" concert from 2011. Sinfonia extols the beauty and majesty of the natural world  with familiar works used in films, suggesting tumbling brooks and violent thunderstorms, sunrise and bird calls, woodland walks and canyon hikes. On the program are Beethoven's Symphony No. 6; Smetana's Moldau; Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, with pianist Ian Hobson, who also conducts.
