The 21st: Budget Stakeholders; The Play ‘Long Lost’

June 1 marks the beginning of our 11th month without a state budget. Many haven't felt the affects of this - 90 percent of the budget is being funded, via special court orders, because of federal-pass through money or individual laws. For the 10 percent of those who aren't being funded, however - state universities, many social service agencies, prisons, state parks - it's an entirely different story.

Solar Power In Illinois; STEM Mentorship Program

On the 21st: The solar panels on one man's Champaign home generate enough electricity for the house and the cars - and feed the grid. Illinois towns and residents are turning toward the sun for power and we talked about howmuch they are saving. Also, a STEM mentorship program helps high school students from across the state get connected with mentors in academia and industry.
