Interview: Tim Schneider, Illinois Republican Party Chairman
On the evening of August 27, 2020, we’re expecting to hear President Donald Trump formally accept the nomination by the Republican Party. That will bring to a close two weeks of political conventions that are unique in American history on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before it ends, The 21st is joined by the chairman of the Illinois Republican Party to talk about the RNC, how President Trump has handled the pandemic and members of his party voting for the Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, in November.
