The 21st Show

The 21st—Wednesday, April 01, 2020

It’s been almost four weeks since the Illinois General Assembly last met. Like many other groups in Illinois, lawmakers are staying home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We talked to Illinois Senate President Don Harmon about what lawmakers might eventually do to address the crisis.

Plus, as Governor Prtizker’s stay at home order continues until the end of April, we unpacked what it means to be an essential business and talk about some of the challenges essential workers are facing.

And with everything from schools to music venues closed right now because of coronavirus we talked to musicians about going virtual to stay connected.
