Mnedelssohn's 3rd "Piano Quartet" is his third published work, prodigy-like, at age 16 years!

Beethoven's Third Symphony premiered was 7 April 1805. The work has had a profound impact on composers and their symphonies that followed, including Bruckner.

Stravinsky's "Petrtushka" is, as the composer subtitled the score, "A burlesque in four scenes".

Stravinsky was a youth of 11 when he caught a glimpse of near-the-end-of-his-life Tchaikovsky at the Mariinsky Theater...

Four famous notes in a row: the opening theme to Beethoven's 5th Symphony.....apocryphally said to be "Fate knocking" at one's door.....Take the time to stop and listen, just listen (again? or for the first time).
