Sunday night October 5 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” you’ll hear an all-Mozart program on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 7:00 you’ll hear “Romantic Music from Brazil and Mexico” on “Fiesta”.

New to Illinois Classical: Heifetz On Air

Friday night October 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” you’ll hear a program new to our schedule coming to us from the Heifetz International Music Institute in Staunton (STAN-tun), VA called “Heifetz On Air”. Tonight’s program features music by Bohemian composers.

WFMT Orchestra Series: Orchestras from the European Broadcasting Union

Wednesday night October 1 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” you’ll hear Edward Gardner conduct the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra in Berlioz’s “Symphonie fantastique”. Also on the program Bartok’s “2nd Violin Concerto” with soloist Christian Tetzlaff.

Tuesday night September 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. CSO Principal Trumpet Esteban Batallán makes his solo debut with the group in trumpet concertos by Telemann and Michael Haydn. Also on the program Schubert’s “4th Symphony”.
