Severance Hall 50th Anniversary Concert with the Cleveland Orchestra on tonight’s “Evening Concert”
Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear a concert by the Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Lorin Maazel recorded February 5, 1981 that recreates the first concert at Severance Hall 50 years earlier, February 5th 1931. On the program: Brahms’ “Symphony No. 1 in C Minor” and Bach’s Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor.
