Sinfonia da Camera Presents “The Mikado”; Urbana High Offers “Beauty & The Beast”

If I say the words “Nanki-Poo,” “Ko-Ko,” “Pooh-Bah,” “Pish-Tush” and “Yum-Yum,” you might perhaps think I’ve gone off my rocker. Or you might realize I’m naming some of the main characters in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado. Sinfonia da Camera will present the operetta Friday night in Urbana, and we’ll have a live preview on the Tuesday edition of “Live and Local.” We’ll also preview this week’s Urbana High School production of Beauty and the Beast.
