Another Rauner Staff Shake-Up

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is once again going through a major staff shake-up in his administration.

About 20 members of Rauner’s administration quit or were fired last month after lawmakers passed a state budget that the governor opposed.

Some Republicans broke from Rauner to do that.

Now, in the midst of the school funding impasse, Rauner’s brand new communications team who deal with reporters and craft how he phrases things are all out of a job.

"The communications effort is incredibly hard because we have attacks. We have political attacks coming 20 times a day. We have social media attacks 100 times a day," Rauner commented.

Rauner denies his office is in turmoil.

He calls it change.
