Many WILL listeners know Guy Raz from the TED Radio Hour, which airs on Saturdays on AM-580 and is available on the NPR One app.  He’s also served as weekend host of All Things Considered, NPR defense correspondent, and NPR bureau chief in both London and Berlin.  And now, he’s hosting a new NPR podcast called “How I Built This,” featuring conversations with the founders of some of the world’s best known companies.

Illinois Public Media's Brian Moline spoke with Guy Raz from NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C.

In a question that had to be cut for time, Brian asked Guy Raz how he became interested in podcasting, as the TED Radio Hour is one of the most downloaded podcasts in the United States.  You might be surprised at his answer.
