Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear a classic archival performance of Handel’s “Messiah” led by Helmut Rilling.   Vocal soloists include Annette Dasch, Daniel Taylor, James Taylor, and Shenyang.

You’ll hear Handel’s “Messiah” with vocal soloists Christina Landshamer, Robin Blaze, Paul Appleby, and Paul Armin Edelmann and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh led by Betsy Burleigh. Music Director Manfred Honeck conducts.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Matthew Halls conducts a complete performance of Handel’s “Messiah”. The vocal soloists are Amanda Forsyth, Sasha Cooke, Nicholas Phan, and Joshua Hopkins with the CSO Orchestra and Chorus.  The program differs from the one listed in Patterns Magazine.
