Monday night October 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  You’ll hear Beethoven’s Leonore Overture, No.3, and Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G Minor”. Between those works you’ll hear music by Gerard Grisey and Magnus Lindberg.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the third program in a new series from the San Francisco Symphony led by their new Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen.  You’ll hear Schubert’s “5th Symphony” and the US premiere of Bryce Dessner’s “Violin Concerto”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. It’s a program from their archives featuring guest conductor Edo de Waart leading the CSO in Beethoven’s “Eroica Symphony” and the “Leonore Overture No. 3”. 

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast” with an all-Beethoven program from their archives. Bernard Haitink conducts the “Pastorale” Symphony, the “4th Symphony” and the Leonore Overture No. 2.  Also on the program the “Grosse fuge” String Quartet.

You'll also hear Beethoven's "Leonore Overture No. 3" and Wagner's "Immolation Scene" from "Gotterdammerung".
